Posted by MacFan182 at 9:53 AM 0 comments
At Mets baseball game last night Baba Booey threw the first pitch and it did not happen as expected. Well actually he failed miserably. Gary Dell’ Abate aka Baba Booey the Producer from the show Howard Stern has said this morning that despite his poor performance, at least his pitch stayed on the television frame. It should be noted that the HUGE Mets fan Mr. Baba Booey was there on behalf of Autism Awareness to promote. Other celebrities that also attended was the famous Kim Kardashian. Kim challenged him when she went on the field in heels to throw second pitch. Booey said she did much better, even in heels. Check out the video of the pitch.

Caddy News: Henrik Stenson Defeats Ian Poulter and Alex Cejka at the $US9.5 million Players Championship!!!

Posted by MacFan182 at 4:29 PM 0 comments

PV Beach, FL-Swede Henrik Stenson has been crowned champion today at golf's richest tournament, the $US9.5 million Players Championships at the TPC Sawgrass course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with a flawless victory in the final round ending six-under-par 66.

Stenson, who started the day for tied for second, 5 strokes behind the leader Alex Cejka, who finished four clear of Englishman Ian Poulter. By the end of the tournament, he finished four shots clear of his Ryder Cup teammate Ian Poulter, who shot an astonishing 70 for his best finish ever during his tenure on the PGA Tour.

He is the only the third European to win at on of US PGA Tours most popular events, joining the great Sergio Garcia, who won last year. And Scotland's Sandy Lyle won back in 1987.

Tiger Woods, whose obviously now playing very well these days, was never really a factor in the tournament. He played as well as anyone that played in the last group.

He fought for the lead but was stuck in a six-way tie that included Stenson. Although Cejka fell to a 42 on the first nine, Woods couldn’t step up to the plate. I have wanted to see Tiger Woods play baseball, I'm sure he could hit a home run. It's good that he finished with a 1-over 73 to finish by himself in 8th, but whats surprising is that it was his first top 10 performance at The Players Championship since he won in 2001. He stunned the crowds and Sports Center viewers worldwide with a streak of 16 consecutive stroke-play events ranking in the top 10 worldwide.

Stenson, has won for the 10th time in his career worldwide, ending at 12-under 276 and has earned $1.71 million. I'm sure he's quite proud of himself, He's now ranked No. 5 worldwide.

Hilarious Comedian Wanda Sykes Entertained President Obama At White House Correspondence Dinner

Posted by MacFan182 at 9:54 PM 1 comments
Wanda Sykes was the lead act at the White House Correspondents' Dinner tonight May 9th. In her funny routine she mixed up many jokes so that all the many people that attended could laugh. Some of the people that she aimed at were: Sara Palin, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and the former vice president of the United States Dick Cheney. From talking about Dick Cheney it lead to a very conservative commentator named Pat Buchanan. His response back to Wanda Sykes, "Over the line." Everyone please expect her jokes and comments to be on every talk and news show Monday morning. Entertaining not only the president and all his guests does not come easily. Over these last few years the comedians that have performed this task have been known to go over line and smashing special guests attending. Let me refresh your memory, Don Imus’ routine in front of a red-faced Bill and Hillary Clinton, over the line and a success with Democrats and a big flop with Republicans, Stephen Colbert in front of George Bush or a downright funny embarrassing fizzle Rich Little also in front of George Bush. Comedy is known as the center of "Over the line." As the once great Jackie Gleason said once, "I wouldn't give this spot to a leopard!"

Catch Derek Fisher Live on Twitter after Suspension!! And Pray for His Daughter TOO!!

Posted by MacFan182 at 9:51 PM 0 comments

Although we lost, I'm still proud of my Houston Rockets because of their awesome performance in game one. I hate to say it, but Yao Ming can't perform at his best. The Rockets have no chance. Farmar is a great player, but Derek Fisher commands more authority and brings muscle to the paint. Something Aaron Brooks has had trouble guarding. In, game 2, Brooks put Kobe Bryant on the floor twice, I wish I could've scene more from him In game 3. The Rockets still have a chance, faith is more way more powerful than logic. As for what Derek Fisher has to say, check him out on Twitter, you can ask him what he may do differently in game 4. The link www.twitter.com/derekfisher

Here's his opening tweet:
``Since I can't be @ the arena, I'll be here with you guys, the fans, as I watch! I'll tweet on time outs, commercials, etc & weigh in. GO LA!''

He claimed no more in game tweets, that may be true. And yes Kobe, Shane Battier can guard you!!

Taj George Suviver| SWV | Eddie George's Wife get's Her Wish

Posted by MacFan182 at 7:12 PM 0 comments

At the auction reward challenge on Survivor, the last item auctioned was a cell phone vid from someone you loved. All the Survivors contestants all gave some of their money and gave it to Taj George, and she broke in tears while watching her husband, former Cowboys running back, Eddie George — and didn't even hear him say, "I'll see you back at camp." When she realized what he said she screamed a little. Afterwards, Jeff Probst gave her an ultimatum: She could either spend valuable time with Eddie George at the camp, or allow the other contestants to visit their loved ones at the camp while she went to the Exile herself. She chose Eddie George, and had a close reunion that was considered a "romantic night at the dunes." Taj and Eddie Georve both agreed and said "I just wanted to take him aside and have a conjugal visit," while Eddie George said, "She's dirty now, she smells filthy ... but it's kind of a turn-on, you know."

The Manny Ramirez Side Effects of his hCG Diet!

Posted by MacFan182 at 2:17 PM 0 comments

You may question what if an athlete had a pituitary tumor and stopped producing LH. Isn't that a good enough reason to allow male athletes to use an hCG diet? Sorry, but the better method of handling that is issue would be to take testosterone supplementation. It's simple, T can be applied via cream but hCG needs to be injected.

What about infertility in primary hypogonadism? Maybe, but Manny has 3 sons...

The doctor just made a mistake, he wanted to raise the testosterone levels of Manny Ramirez AND THOUGHT that hCG was'nt going to be detected. And now the side effects are that he's now suspended from MLB.

It's all over the news, Manny Ramirez tested positive for hCG. Human Chorionic Gonadrotropin. But you might wonder, what is hCG? hCG is a glycoprotein hormone produced during pregnancy that is made by the developing embryo. Jose Canseco was detained at the Mexican border on October 9, 2008, Jose Canseco was detained after being caught with hCG in his trunk.

Is it puzzling why Manny Ramirez would use hCG? Not Really. Mainly because it it acts like luteinizing hormones (LH) in your body. It stimulates male testes to produce testosterone in conditions of low or absent LH. Yes, you are thinking correctly - hCG allows any male athlete the opportunity to maintain high levels of testosterone production to raise T levels after using steriods.

Athletes inject hCG to correct low epitestosterone issues. But likemost steroids, LH can cause male breast. (gynecomastia) and detectable in urine.

Manny Ramirez has Been caught with Steroids | Manny Ramirez is facing Suspension|Manny Ramirez And More Rumors

NY— Manny Ramirez has been suspended for 50 games by Major League Baseball on Today, becoming the latest high-profile player tangled in the sport's drug scandals.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star said he did not take steroids and was prescribed medication by a doctor that contained a banned substance. The commissioner's office didn't announce the specific violation by the 36-year-old outfielder, who apologized to the Dodgers and fans for "this whole situation."

"Recently, I saw a physician for a personal health issue. He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was OK to give me," Ramirez said in a statement issued by the players' union.

"Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy that mistake is now my responsibility. I have been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I've taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past five seasons."

The suspension began Thursday and barring any postponements Ramriez will be able to return to the Dodgers _ who now have the best record in baseball _ for the July 3 game at San Diego. Ramirez will lose about $7.65 million of his $25 million salary.

While Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Alex Rodriguez, Jose Canseco and a long list of stars have been implicated in the use of performance-enhancing drugs, Ramirez is the most prominent suspended under the drug policy players and owners put in place seven years ago.
